PEANUT BUTTER BANANA BITES

These simple peanut butter filled banana bites are the perfect pick-me-up snacks for long afternoons. Pro Tip: Freeze leftover banana bites and simply pop them out of the freezer for an instant sweet snack! They can stay in the freezer for up to 14 days!

INGREDIENTS:

2 large bananas

1 slab of dark chocolate

2 tablespoons of peanut butter

1 tablespoon coconut flakes

1 tablespoon cacao nibs

1 tablespoon chopped peanuts

1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Cut bananas into thin slices.

Spread one layer of peanut butter on one layer of banana and add another layer of banana on top. Place bananas into freezer for at least 30min. Chop up a dark chocolate slab and place into a bowl. Melt the chocolate in a microwave until smooth. Dip the frozen banana pieces in melted chocolate. Line plate with parchment paper and place the dipped banana cakes on the plate. Sprinkle coconut flakes, chopped peanuts, cacao nibs and sesame seeds on the chocolate side of the banana cake.

DO THIS BEFORE THE CHOCOLATE SOLIDIFIES.

Once done place plate in a fridge to set. Take out of the fridge and enjoy while chilled.
